My Therapeutic Style & Approach

As a dedicated and empathetic therapist, I believe in the transformative power of understanding and connection. With over 16 years of experience, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, discover their inner strengths, and achieve personal goals. My approach is rooted in compassion and tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, fostering a safe and supportive environment for healing and self-discovery. I believe in providing each individual with specialized coping skills and techniques that allow them to continue their journey of healing long after the therapeutic relationship ends.

I have vast experience working with clients in diverse settings; including community based residential treatment, mental health centers, hospitals, and private practice. My non-judgmental approach has allowed me to assist clients overcome significant life challenges. My approach is client-centered and strengths-based, integrating cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief (SFBT), and motivational interviewing to empower clients on their path to healing and growth.

I am a firm believer of advancing my personal growth and development through on-going education, advocacy, and community involvement. I frequently participate in community events and professional development workshops. I also recognize the significance of self-care. I acknowledge my own needs are important and make time to ensure my mind and body are nourished and my connectivity to others is genuine. I strive to inspire my clients to find balance and fulfillment in their own lives.
