My Therapeutic Style & Approach:
I’m a Licensed Social Worker in Pennsylvania with a passion for helping adolescents and adults navigate challenges, develop greater self-understanding, and work toward meaningful change. As a social worker, I take a holistic, person-in-environment approach to therapy, recognizing that our mental health and well-being are shaped by our relationships, experiences, family history, environment, and the challenges we face throughout our lives.
My approach is collaborative, individualized, and strength-based. I believe clients are the experts in their own lives, and I work with each person to develop treatment goals that reflect what is meaningful and important to them. I believe that everyone has strengths and resources that can be built upon, even when those strengths may be difficult to recognize during challenging periods.
I incorporate evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), while remaining trauma-informed and responsive to each client’s individual needs. My goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, understood, and supported as they work toward growth and healing.
