My Therapeutic Style & Approach:

We all know that life has many ups and downs.  When we as humans experience stressors, it is not uncommon for our lives to feel like they are unraveling.  My greatest passion is bringing a sense of peace and healing to people who have come across these stressful experiences.  In working with children, adolescents, adults, and families, I strive to form a strong therapeutic relationship with every client. I aim to provide an open, safe, and nurturing environment where I will offer and suggest tools and
techniques to help cope with symptoms.

I have worked in the mental health field for over 20 years, which has given me an eclectic background in terms of services I can provide as a mental health professional. I believe that no single approach is right for every individual. I have been formally trained in a range of modalities including but not limited to; cognitive-behavioral therapy, exposure therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, interpersonal therapy, and family systems therapy.

I always utilize a person-centered approach that builds on each individual’s unique, personal strengths.  I am truly invested in assisting my clients in feeling supported, understood, and empowered, while fostering an environment of acceptance and growth. My ultimate goal is to support my clients while they develop and implement strategies that will allow them to move forward after stressors have become a part of their lives.
