My Therapeutic Style & Approach

Seeking out help can be an overwhelming, difficult process. Having the strength to do so is an admirable step. I believe that the therapeutic journey should be one of a collaborative effort. I’m devoted to creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment where we work together towards your goals and finding some peace in your everyday life.

I have over 7 years’ experience working across all age groups, ages 3 and older to identify daily struggles and stuck points. I work with a number of issues and symptoms including, depression, anxiety, ODD, ADHD, transitionary periods, relationships, parenting, and trauma informed care. I pull from many different treatment approaches such as, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Humanistic Therapy, existential, and strength based theories. I believe each person is different and their treatment should be a collaborative effort in finding solution focused strategies that best fit each individual.

Throughout our work together, I can help you identify areas which cause distress and work to find ways to acknowledge and process through that distress. I will work to help you find better meaning towards yourself and live a more authentic, purposeful life.
